World Rhino Day:- Best Photos to Celebrate the Rhinos

Manuel Ketterer Celebrates World Rhino Day in Tribute to Sudan and efforts put in place by the rangers and organizations at Olpejeta to protect and restore some extinct species such as these rare rhino species.

World Rhino Day has been around for ten years now. Always on September 22nd. On this day, many people around the world raise awareness of the endangerment of rhinos.

The population continues to shrink every year, and in the meantime, there may no longer be one or the other rhino that you see in the pictures.

One thing I can say for sure, Sudan, the last male northern white rhinoceros is no longer alive. I still have a few pictures from 2016 to remember him. With him, a subspecies of the white rhino is now almost extinct.

Fortunately, there are many people and organizations who are dedicated to the right animal welfare and species protection, and for whom profit is not the focus. I have already got to know some of these people at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, among others.

James Mwenda, James Mwenda, Peter Esegon, Joseph Wachira, Robert Lochiam, are just a few who work for these animals every day!

Enjoy the pictures of these endangered species and hope that your children, or their children, can still experience these species live.

For me it was a privilege to meet Sudan personally at the time, I will never forget it. This day always reminds me of it.

ALWAYS REMEMBER — EXTINCTION MEANS FOREVER!!!!
