No Quarantine in Kenya When You Land From Abroad
Are you worried about getting quarantined in Kenya when you Visit?
The Ministry of Transport has confirmed that guests who are visiting Kenya will not be subjected to mandatory Quarantine. This comes after the Minister of Transport, CS Macharia Confirmed today in a press statement.
‘No quarantine for tourists arriving in Kenya if they don’t show COVID-19 symptoms’, The CS Said
CS Macharia: People flying into Kenya will require COVID-19 free certificates…If flying at night, during curfew hours, one will be allowed to use their boarding pass/ticket at the roadblock to be able to get to the airport.
Only travelers with valid tickets will be allowed in airports when flights resume, Transport CS Macharia says.
The CS Also mentioned on the resumption of Standard Gauge Railway from Nairobi to Mombasa as from 13th July 2020.
‘We shall provide commuter rail service linking SGR terminus in Syokimau to Nairobi CBD. This service shall run at 6.35 AM and from CBD to SGR and from SGR to CBD to arrive at 6.50 PM. Madaraka Express train services to resume on Monday 13th ~ Transport CS James Macharia.
