We have highlighted a few things that should be considered before flying to East Africa:-
COVID 19 Tests and Negative Certs When planning a safari to Kenya Or Tanzania, a mandatory negative cert that’s valid 96hrs must be produced when landing at any of the Airports. Also, a mandatory Temp Test will be administered on you for records. See countries allowed to fly into Kenya here or you can get an updated list here kaa.go.ke
You have to declare your previous visits and which destinations you toured to. This will help in determining if you will be expected from a 14 days quarantine. In Tanzania, all countries are allowed to visit regardless of previous destination visits.
Travel and Medical Insurances
You will be required to declare that you have an insurance cover for both travel and medical in case of any emergencies while on your holiday.
Exclusive and Private Safaris Safaris are going to be expensive in order to give you paramount experience and best services while observing COVID 19 Guidelines. We recommend you choose a private safari either for your family or on solo travel, so as to observe the social distance protocols set. They are the best since you will have the trip by your selves.
Pay Your Safari Online and Prior
As you anticipate visiting Kenya and Tanzania, we advise you to do an online payment. In this case, it will be easier to do transactions and just be at ease at home waiting for your safari. We advise you to book your safari 60 days earlier before your travel dates.
Add two Day Before and After Safari
Most Safaris in Kenya start from Nairobi and in Tanzania, from Arusha. We advise since they will be long and tiresome, you book a night before and after your safari in any of the airport cities. This will help you rest and plan your self accordingly.
